Quarterbacks – Improving Accuracy

Accuracy should be your number one goal with every throw when becoming a great QB. Regardless of whether you’re warming up or throwing the long ball, always try to strive for a precise target. Always practice drills, which test and improve your accuracy for all types of throws. Plus once your accuracy holds up the more scouts come.

Receivers – Catching Ability: The Key for Every WR

Another absolutely key part of any good receiver’s game is of course catching ability. Having a large catch radius, limiting the number of drops, and being able to catch in a crowd are all differentiators that elevate good receivers to great ones. To do this it’s important to have the best gear, especially gloves to help hang on to every ball.

Each year we select some of the very best college coaches from D1, D2, and D3 to provide a great day of hands-on college level instruction. This Spotlight Event is the only QB & WR Specific Program with multiple college coaches providing instruction from various levels of college football.

The position-specific WR training sessions are scheduled for Monday evenings in July. Plus, there will be invitations to mid-week and weekend Events that run through July.

PRE-SEASON EVALUATION NIGHT

This event will be used to help evaluate and prepare the players for the upcoming season.

There will be 2 sessions on the evening of Sunday, July 21:

  1. 4:00pm to 5:30pm at Calvert Hall High School, 8102 LaSalle Road, Baltimore, MD
  2. 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Pindell Field, 716 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD

You may attend either session, or for only an additional $25, attend both sessions.

To assist in the evaluation process, each Quarterback can bring a receiver, at no additional charge.

SPECIAL GUEST: Inside The Black and Gold is scheduled to be in attendance at both sessions.

A chance for Quarterbacks and Receivers to be evaluated for promotion to multiple college recruiting writers and services. This is a great opportunity for players who want to showcase their skills!
